MPS Data Matrix Identification is a method for temporary identification of regular containers. It uses a Removable Vision Identifier (RVID) printed directly onto the surface of your box, bin, tray or other uniform object. Using Data Matrix as the container identifier reduces the number of no-reads and increases the performance and availability of the logistics system. The special water soluble ink is easily removed in standard container washing equipment. The coding is both accurate and secure, whilst the image reader uses camera based technology. Unlike laser barcode readers, MPS Data Matrix Identification systems are able to read symbols even when printed in low contrast. At the data matrix print station, not only is the data in the printed code verified, but the matrix is also inspected. This allows for early correction of unreadable container codes. www.mps-group.nl
